Seeing how storms are part of Jesus' plan
Acts 27:40 (NKJV) And they let go the anchors and left them in the sea, meanwhile loosing the rudder ropes; and they hoisted the mainsail to the wind and made for shore.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, as the crew of the ship prepared to let the ship crash on the beach, it must have been hard for Paul, one of 276 prisoners on the ship, to see how this fit into Your plan for Paul to go to Rome!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Seeing how storms are part of My plan is hard to do when things seem to be out of control, as with Paul when he was a prisoner on this ship that was about to crash on the shore of this island. Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, trusting Me, as Paul did in this storm, knowing I am in control but not sure how this all fits into My plan, being a witness to the lost as you do so!"
