About the Book

"ALTHOUGH THIS IS AN IMPERFECT COMMUNICATION ON MY PART, I BELIEVE JESUS HAS SPOKEN TO MY HEART MANY THINGS THAT ENCOURAGE AND TEACH ME THAT MAY BE AN ENCOURAGEMENT TO YOU"

I had experienced occasional times in my quiet time where I felt Jesus was speaking to my heart and wrote down what came to my mind that Jesus might be telling me. After reading Hearing God by Peter Lord several times, I felt that Jesus wanted me to listen to His voice more frequently, which became a daily part of my quiet time. I would pick a verse or two in the daily chapter of the New Testament that I was reading, write a prayer to Father God relating to this and write the words, "Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe," and then begin to write what I thought Jesus might be telling me. Although this is an imperfect communication on my part, I believe Jesus has spoken to my heart many things that encourage and teach me that may be an encouragement to you when you read the book and as you read these daily entries.

Heinz WegenerHeinz Wegener is the President of Cross Technologies Inc. and former Chairman and Executive Vice President of Wegener Corporation, once a publicly traded company and 177th on the Inc. 500. Heinz and his family emigrated from Germany in 1951, and he has been married to his wife, Nan, since 1967. They have two grown children and five grandchildren. In 1978, he founded Wegener Communications, which began in his laundry room and grew to become an international supplier of satellite communications equipment. But, even founding a successful company did not bring fulfillment until he invited Jesus Christ into his life as his Lord and Savior. Heinz co-founded the Norcross Fellowship Luncheon with Larry Shrader in 1985, where businessmen share their faith in Jesus and knowledge of how they apply this in the marketplace. They have been meeting weekly since 1985.
