Making decisions in line with who I am
1 Corinthians 6:12 (NKJV) All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, Paul emphasizes that even though we are one with You when we are saved, we still have free will to make good or bad decisions and must reject doing things inconsistent with who we are, the righteousness of You in Jesus!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Making decisions in line with who you are, the righteousness of Father God in Me, is a lifelong battle to reject anything that you know is not good for you, even in what you eat, that the defeated evil one often uses to try to discourage believers when they are not disciplined in this. Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, seeing the benefits of moderation in all you do, especially eating, making good and healthy decisions in this area consistent with who you are, the righteousness of Father God in Me, since I saved you in 1980!"
