Identifying with people where they are
1 Corinthians 9:22 (NKJV) to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, help me to identify with people where they are so I, too, might become all things to all people that I might by all means save some by Holy Spirit in me.
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Identifying with people where they are is to be kind to them and to let them feel free to express themselves, even when they get angry with you because of your witness for Me. Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, looking for ways to connect with people where they are, even if they are opposed to what you believe, and listening to them, being kind and gentle, as Clarence was with you. As you do so, you will have many opportunities to help others see My love for them and help them to accept My free gift of salvation, as you did because of Clarence‘s kindness to you!"
