Treating other believers as family
1 Timothy 5:1-2 (NKJV) Do not rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father, younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, younger women as sisters, with all purity.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, help me to treat all believers as family as Paul teaches we should do in these verses.
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Treating other believers as family is a great witness to others and is key to Holy Spirit working in and through believers as a witness to the lost who are drawn to want to be part of this community of believers when they see this radically followed! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, looking for ways to treat one another as family and help diffuse disagreements and tensions that normally come up, being a witness to the lost who are drawn to also want to be part of this community and are open to hearing the Gospel and get saved as a result!"
