Being holy as Jesus is holy
1 Peter 1:14-16 (NKJV) as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome that You called me to be saved through Jesus Who made me holy as You are Holy when He saved me in 1980!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Being holy as I am holy is who I made you, the righteousness of Father God in Me, when I saved you in 1980, and you, and all believers, are hungry to be holy in all your conduct! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, walking with joy and peace in holiness by the Power of Holy Spirit in you, helping others to accept Me as their Lord and Savior so they, too, become the righteousness of Father God in Me and are holy as I am holy!"
