Jesus brought me to Father God when He saved me
1 Peter 3:18 (NKJV) For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome that Jesus (the just) suffered for our (the unjust) sins that He might bring us to You, which He did for me when He saved me in 1980!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"I brought you to Father God when I saved you in 1980, having suffered once for all sins, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, so I could save you and all who accept Me as their Lord and Savior! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, helping others come to Father God and be saved by Me, telling them that I suffered once for all so that they, too, can be made alive by the Spirit when they accept Me as their Lord and Savior!"
