The tomb where Jesus' earthly body was laid
John 19:41-42 (NKJV) Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid. So there they laid Jesus, because of the Jews’ Preparation Day, for the tomb was nearby.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how sad and yet glorious as Jesus’ body, on which were all our sins, was put in a nearby tomb from which Jesus would rise from the dead in three days!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"The tomb where My earthly body was laid is a permanent monument of My earthly life and death from which I would rise from the dead, having taken and destroyed the sin of all mankind by My life, death and resurrection! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, rejoicing in this Glorious Truth and telling all who will listen that I have taken and destroyed all their sin and they can spend all eternity in heaven if they will acknowledge Me for what I have done for them by My life, death and resurrection!"
