Not doing things that might be stumbling blocks to others
1 Corinthians 8:8-9 (NKJV) But food does not commend us to God; for neither if we eat are we the better, nor if we do not eat are we the worse. But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, help me to be sensitive to anything I do that might be a stumbling block to those who are weak.
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Not doing things that might be stumbling blocks to others is important to be aware of and includes being bold about things that you know can cause division, such as your view on politics. Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, listening to people you meet express their beliefs and concerns about various topics, trying not to argue with them but being kind and demonstrating My Peace by the Power of Holy Spirit in you, winning some to Me as a result!"
