Accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior freed me
2 Corinthians 3:15-17 (NKJV) But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome that when I turned to You and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior in 1980, the veil on my heart was taken away!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Accepting Me as Lord and Savior freed you from the law of sin and death and gave you My peace that passes all earthly understanding! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, resting in this Truth, living with joy and freedom by the Power of Holy Spirit in you, helping others turn to Me and be saved so they, too, can live with joy and freedom with the liberty they have by Holy Spirit in them!"
