Works to go with my faith
James 2:16-17 (NKJV) and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, help me to have works to go with my faith in You!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Works to go with your faith is key to being an effective witness for Me and can take many forms to help people with their needs and also to be diligent to make friends with unbelievers, even if they don’t appear to be interested in knowing Me as their Lord and Savior. Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, keeping in mind how to make friends with unbelievers, especially those who are boldly rejecting Me and often this is a challenge from them to have you prove to them that I am real and to show them how to have true peace by accepting Me as their Lord and Savior!"
