Jesus bore all sin on His body on the cross
1 Peter 2:23b-24 (NKJV) He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome that Jesus bore our sins in His own body on the cross, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness by Whose stripes we were healed!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"I bore all sin on My body on the cross so that you, and all who accept Me as Lord and Savior, are the righteousness of Father God in Me, that you, and all believers, might live for righteousness by the Power of Holy Spirit in you! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, helping others see how I bore all their sins on the cross so that they might also live for righteousness when they accept Me as their Lord and Savior for the forgiveness of all their sin!"
