Asking questions in response to questions
Luke 20:3-4 (NKJV) But He answered and said to them, “I also will ask you one thing, and answer Me: The baptism of John—was it from heaven or from men?”
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome as Jesus responded to the question the chief priests, scribes, and elders asked about who gave Him authority to do what He was doing, with a question!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Asking questions in response to questions is a powerful way to expose people’s real motives in the questions they ask and to help them see their wrong belief of Who I am but that they can only be saved through Me! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, connecting with people who are not believers so you can help them see their need for Me for salvation and their error in believing they can be good enough to merit entering heaven by their good works."
