Persecution that results in a powerful witness for Jesus
Acts 24:13-14 (NKJV) Nor can they prove the things of which they now accuse me. But this I confess to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome as Paul witnesses before Felix, the governor, made possible by the persecution Paul received!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Prosecution that results in a powerful witness for Me is what happens today as well whether believers have a chance to proclaim My Plan of Salvation when they are persecuted and also in how they handle persecution with My Peace and Joy! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, witnessing for Me with joy and peace by the Power of Holy Spirit in you, seeing how the persecution you and all believers receive often results in a powerful witness for Me, as with Paul in this chapter of Acts!"
