Celebrating communion
1 Corinthians 10:16 (NKJV) The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome that when we celebrate communion we partake of the body and blood of Jesus to rejoice in the Salvation Jesus won for us!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Celebrating communion with the cup of blessing which you bless and bread would you break is celebrating My life, death and resurrection for the forgiveness of all sin and the eternal life I have given to you and all who have accepted Me as their Lord and Savior! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, rejoicing in your eternal life won by Me when you celebrate communion with the cup of blessing which you bless and the bread which you break!"
