Receiving people who may not like me
2 Corinthians 7:14b-15 (NKJV) even so our boasting to Titus was found true. And his affections are greater for you as he remembers the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you received him.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome when we, too, receive others who may not like us at some time and witness Your love for them when we do so!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Receiving people who may not like you or what you stand for is being obnoxiously kind to them which may be how they get saved as happened to you as a result of Clarence‘s kindness to you! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, connecting with people who may not like you or what you stand for, being kind to them as Clarence was with you, being a witness to the lost and an encouragement to other believers as you do so!"
