Receiving persecutions when I witness for Jesus
2 Corinthians 12:10 (NKJV) Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome that I and all Christians also receive persecutions for Christ’s sake and that when we are weak Jesus can work through us and we are strong!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Receiving persecutions when you witness for Me is normal for the lost to do when they are confronted with their lost condition and that they are destined for hell without Me! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, finding ways to connect with lost people so you can share My Plan of Salvation with them, causing some to persecute you for doing so, and helping them to accept Me as their Lord and Savior, being kind to them when they persecute you as Clarence was to you which led to you getting saved!"
