Praying for new believers to receive the Holy Spirit
Acts 8:16-17 (NKJV) For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome as Peter and John went to the newly saved Samaritans and prayed for them to receive the Holy Spirit!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Praying for new believers to receive the Holy Spirit should be a normal process in all churches and yet this is rarely done in the western church today, resulting in many believers without the Power of the Holy Spirit that is essential to major, world-wide revival! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, connecting with other Spirit-filled believers and ministering the Baptism of the Holy Spirit to all believers who have not received this yet!"
