Following Jesus
Matthew 4:18-19 (NKJV) And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 19 Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome as Jesus picks His first two disciples, Peter and Andrew, while they were fishing and they immediately left their nets and followed Him!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Following Me may mean to leave your current occupation, as with Peter and Andrew, and it may mean following Me and being a witness in your work, as with you! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, serving Me in the marketplace as you are doing and praying for those who leave their occupation to serve Me as Peter and Andrew did!"
