Jesus' earthly genealogy from Abraham
Matthew 1:6 (NKJV) and Jesse begot David the king. David the king begot Solomon by her who had been the wife of Uriah.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome is Matthew’s recording of the genealogy of Jesus from Abraham!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"My earthly genealogy from Abraham is a wonderful display of Father God‘s perfect plan in Me becoming man to live, die, and rise from the dead for the complete forgiveness of all the sin of all mankind which made it possible for you and all who accept Me as their Lord and Savior to spend all eternity with Father God, Me, Holy Spirit, and all believers! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, living with more and more awe and wonder of Father God‘s plan to save you so that you, and all believers, will spend all eternity in heaven!"
