Religion without Jesus is a tool of the devil
Matthew 23:38-39 (NKJV) See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ ”
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, Jesus confronts the scribes and Pharisees with their persecution of Him and that only when they recognize Jesus as Lord will they be saved!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Religion without Me is a tool of the defeated evil one who tries to convince people that only religious ritual and performance will earn them eternity in heaven, causing them to be lost for all eternity and to preach religious-based error until their lives end. Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, building bridges with these religious people and helping them encounter Me, as you did when Clarence took you to the Bible study, leading them to salvation in Me by Grace alone, through faith alone, in Me alone!"
