Getting those against you to argue among themselves
Acts 23:7-8 (NKJV) And when he had said this, a dissension arose between the Pharisees and the Sadducees; and the assembly was divided. For Sadducees say that there is no resurrection—and no angel or spirit; but the Pharisees confess both.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, Paul gets his accusers, the Pharisees and Sadducees, to argue among themselves to get them to take their focus off of accusing him.
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Getting those against you to argue among themselves is a good way to get their focus off of accusing and ridiculing you and maybe hear what you are trying to tell them about their need to accept Me as their Lord and Savior for the forgiveness of all their sin. Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, being gentle and kind to those who ridicule you for your faith in Me, listening to Holy Spirit show you how to get their focus off of ridiculing and accusing you so they might listen to you sharing My Plan of Salvation and be saved!"
