As a man, Jesus knew Who He was and where He was going
John 13:3-4 (NKJV) Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God, rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome that Jesus knew He had come from You and was going to You and that You had given all things into His hands!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"As a man, I knew Who I was and where I was going and gladly prepared Myself to go to the cross so that you, and all who accept Me as their Lord and Savior, will be saved and spend all eternity with Father God, Me, Holy Spirit, and all believers! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, seeing the price Father God and I were willing to pay to save you, helping others to see this and accept Me as Lord and Savior too!"
