Preaching the Gospel as a businessman
1 Thessalonians 2:9 (NKJV) For you remember, brethren, our labor and toil; for laboring night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, we preached to you the gospel of God.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, I see Paul’s emphasis that he worked to provide for his needs and preached Your Gospel without taking collections to support himself.
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Preaching the Gospel as a businessman allows you to do what Paul did as he supported himself by working and not depending on collections when he preached. Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, encouraging other businessmen to boldly witness for Me, using the fellowship luncheon as a platform for men to do so, being a witness to the lost and an encouragement to other believers as you do so!"
