Not recognizing Jesus in the miracles He does
Matthew 12:13-14 (NKJV) Then He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other. Then the Pharisees went out and plotted against Him, how they might destroy Him.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awful that the Pharisees were so concerned that their religious laws were obeyed that they did not recognize Jesus as Your Son even when He did miracles right in front of them!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Not recognizing Me in the miracles I do happens today as in this story and yet it leaves a lasting impression on unbelievers that is sometimes a seed planted in their minds that draws them to Me over time! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, witnessing for Me and operating in My Supernatural Signs and Wonders by Holy Spirit in you, not giving up on unbelievers when they refuse to recognize Me in the miracles I do through you and other believers, but continue to remain in fellowship with them!"
