Answering questions with questions
Mark 11:30-31 (NKJV) The baptism of John—was it from heaven or from men? Answer Me.” And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, help me to answer wisely as Jesus did by asking a question, especially when people are trying to trick me by the questions they ask.
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Answering questions with questions will often help people to see the error of their beliefs about Me and about their eternal destination and is also a powerful way to help them understand other things as well! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, letting Holy Spirit give you patience and wisdom when sharing My gospel with the lost, letting Him give you questions to answer their questions, being a witness to the lost and providing an example of how to respond to other believers as you do so!"
