The angel telling Zacharias he would have a son, John
Luke 1:13 (NKJV) But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome as the angel appears to Zacharias to tell him his wife Elizabeth will give birth to John who will baptize Jesus!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"The angel telling Zacharias he would have a son, John, made it clear that John would play a key role in preparing people for My life as Savior of the world! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, helping others see how My life, death, and resurrection made it possible for anyone to be saved and spend all eternity in heaven when they accept Me as their Lord and Savior for the complete forgiveness of all their sin!"
