Seeking those things which are where Jesus is
Colossians 3:1-2 (NKJV) If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, help me to seek those things which are above, where Jesus is sitting at Your right hand and to set my mind on things above!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Seeking those things which are where I am is rejoicing in who I made you, the righteousness of Father God in Me, when I saved you, knowing that you will be with Me in heaven for all eternity! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, telling all who will listen that they, too, can be with Me and all believers in heaven for all eternity if they will accept Me as Lord and Savior, being a witness to the lost and an encouragement to other believers as you do so!"
