Reminding each other what Jesus said
Acts 20:35b-36 (NKJV) And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." And when he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome as Paul speaks this to the Ephesian elders, reminding them what Jesus said that “It is more blessed to give than to receive.“
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Reminding each other what I said is key to encouraging each other that no matter what the future holds, I hold the future! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, reminding yourself and other believers what I said in My Word, the Bible, memorizing these words and repeating them often, knowing that one day you and all believers will spend all eternity in heaven with Me!"
