The price of serving Jesus
Acts 21:13 (NKJV) Then Paul answered, "What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus."
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome is Paul’s passion to serve You for the name of the Lord Jesus and to go to Jerusalem even if it means he will die when he does so!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"The price of serving Me varies with believers, both as where they are prepared to go where they will be persecuted, and where they will have a great impact for Me with those who persecute them. Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, being sensitive to where I am calling you to go, willing to pay the price of serving Me, knowing you will have an impact for Me even on those who will persecute you!"
