Jesus laid down His life for me
John 10:17-18a (NKJV) “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome that Jesus laid down His life for me and allowed Himself to be crucified and He rose from the dead for the forgiveness of all sin!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"I laid down My life for you and for all who accept Me as their Lord and Savior for the complete forgiveness of all their sin so that you, and all believers, can spend all eternity in heaven with Father God, Me, Holy Spirit and all believers! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, witnessing to My love for all people and that they can be saved and spend all eternity in heaven because I laid down My life for all who accept Me as their Lord and Savior for the complete forgiveness of all their sin as you did in 1980!"
