Receiving the Holy Spirit empowers believers
John 20:21-22 (NKJV) So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome as Jesus appears to the disciples in a room where they were assembled for fear of the Jews, and gave them the Holy Spirit to empower them!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Receiving the Holy Spirit empowers believers today and is essential for a bold proclamation that I am the Only Begotten Son of Father God who came to save all who accept Me as Lord and Savior! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, boldly proclaiming Me as Lord and Savior, being empowered by Holy Spirit and operating in His Supernatural Signs and Wonders, being a witness to the lost and an encouragement to other believers as you do so!"
