Forgiving and comforting people who criticize and ridicule me
2 Corinthians 2:6-7a (NKJV) This punishment which was inflicted by the majority is sufficient for such a man, so that, on the contrary, you ought rather to forgive and comfort him.
Dear Wonderful, Teaching, Loving, Saving Father God, how awesome that Paul says to forgive and comfort people who criticize and ridicule us for our witness for Jesus!
Jesus speaking to my heart, I believe:
"Forgiving and comforting people who criticize and ridicule you for your witness for Me will win many to Me when they see My love and care ministered to them through you! Rejoice in Me in all you say, think and do, looking for people to witness to, knowing they may criticize and ridicule you for your witness for Me, forgiving and comforting them when they do so, being a witness to the lost an encouragement to other believers when you do so!"
